This wave extension (robot) will delete all but the last five messages on a wave, excepting the top message. It’s meant to be used in conjunction with Pushy and any other chatty robots to keep the number of messages in a wave down to a manageable level. Potential other uses would be in a chatting context: you don’t always want to see the complete history of a chat session and this could be a way to hide the noise. Remember that you can always see the complete history by clicking Playback on the wave, so the messages aren’t lost: they’re just archived

Google Wave API Forum

To help facilitate discussions about the Google Wave APIs, we have created an extension called “Forum Botty” that makes it easy to create and find waves about the APIs from other developers. We hope this new extension will help you take advantage of the collaborative nature of Google Wave while you are designing and debugging.

Currently, Forum Botty provides the following features:

A “new forum post” option in the new wave menu, which adds the robot, makes a wave public, and adds the “wave-api” tag.
A digest wave of forum activity, which you can subscribe to on a daily or weekly basis
Auto-tagging of waves based on wave content, to make it easy to find ‘robot’ tagged waves, for example

Forum Botty is very much an experiment, and we will be constantly tweaking it and adding features based on feedback from all of you. Please let us know what you think of it in the forum itself.

For around six months, I have been updating the website almost daily to provide you with the latest information on Google Wave particularly Extensions. Though earlier my intentions were to keep you updated with Google Android and Chrome Extensions but unfortunately, I have not been able to. Hence today, I want your advice.

Gadget # 64 – ConceptDraw MindWave

CS Odessa’s ConceptDraw MindWave is a no-charge Wave Extension (Gadget) that facilitates mind mapping and brainstorming. MindWave lets other invited Wave participants collaborate in real-time using a mind map. Information contained in the MindWave mind map is stored per wave within Google Wave, this makes a great storage area that can be accessed by all participants later on.

Tips:

You can easily move around within your mind map as it is created.

To stop editing a topic, press Enter.
Shift+Enter adds a new topic.
Double-clicking on a topic adds a sub-topic.
Paste a word or phrase to add a new topic.
Paste a column of words to add many topics at once.
Drag and drop organizes your mind map.
Press Delete or Backspace to remove a selected topic.
Arrow keys navigate you through the map.
